Mojiza of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq asws

Recite 19 times full Bismillah and Salawat 11 times prior to reading or telling the Mojiza of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq asws as follows:

A very poor woodcutter used to live in a city and cut woods every day in a jungle and sell tree-branches to earn living for his family. Upon finding it difficult to make both ends meet, one day he decided to go abroad to earn better wages. They prayed to God for blessings and have mercy on them.

He left in the search of work and better job, but unfortunately his fate was not in his favour. He intended to return home but time slowly slipped away and he could not save enough from the little savings he managed to secure from few odd jobs. He remained in uncertainty for twelve years thinking of gathering money but during all that time he could neither send any money to his family nor could go back to see them.

On the other hand, his wife initially waited for few days with the hope that her husband will soon start supporting them. However, when she did not hear from him for a long time and in order to support her starving family, she found herself a job, as a cleaner in prime minister’s palace to bring home some food for survival

One day, she saw a dream that she was cleaning prime minister’s palace, when all of a sudden the Master of both worlds Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq sws came into the courtyard together with His companions and enquired from His companions: ‘Do you know which date is today and which month is it?’ They replied, ‘ya Mola asws tonight is 22nd Rajab-ul-mujarab. Imama sws replied from his Divine tongue that if some one is engulfed into troubles, no matter how severe or bad they are, he/she should prepare ‘pooriyan’ of 1,1/4 kg of flour and give a nazar on the morning of 22nd Rajab and pray Allah azwj and ask for Our sake. Allah azwj will, for sure, listen to their requests and relieve them from their hardships. When the woodcutter’s wife woke up, she decided to perform this nazar. And on the morning of 22nd Rajab after praying Fajar, she did the nazar exactly in the way as prescribed by Imama sws in her dream. Salawat!

Now listen to the situation of woodcutter himself: When his wife was offering niaz on the morning of 22 nd Rajab, her husband was cutting woods in a jungle after climbing on a tree when all of a sudden his axe fell out of his hand on the ground below. When he pulled it out of the soft ground, he felt there is something buried there, like a hidden treasure. On digging the ground, he found an enormous treasure, hidden in a box. At this instance, he covered it again and went back. He then returned to the place and started extracting jewels and gold from the box little by little. Upon recovering all of it, he started to prepare for his journey back home, now with plenty of wealth and self-esteem.

His family welcomed him and he built a beautiful house, near the little old cottage and started living happily with his family. One day his wife told him about the mojiza and how she offered the nazar. When she told him about the date and timing, they were exactly the same date and timing when he got that treasure. Salawat!

He fully believed in it and became a devout momin. One day prime minister’s wife was standing on top of her palace and enjoying sunshine and fresh air when she noticed a very attractive and newly built house in the proximity of their grand palace. She asked her slave girls about the owner of that house. They told her that the house belongs to the family of the lady who used to clean the palace. On hearing this, she called her (woodcutter’s wife) and quizzed the legitimacy of her newly acquired wealth. Woodcutter’s wife told her saga in detail, but the prime minister’s wife did not believe her and thought that her husband must have stolen or robbed the described treasures.

While the prime minister’s wife had this suspicion, her husband met his bad fate in the court of the king. One of the officials in the king’s palace was against the prime minister. Upon finding a suitable time, he made fraudulent allegations against him to the King. The ruler immediately asked him to present before him all the accounts. The prime minister could not balance the accounts in that short notice and was humiliated and suspended from his position.

The king ordered to confiscate all of prime minister’s property and asked them to leave their palace and go away form his kingdom. Both the husband and wife left their house and were walking on foot, which they were not used to, and felt exhausted with hunger and thirst. Soon they found a field full of melons in front of them. The prime minister took 2 dirham from his wife which were left in her pocket, by chance, and bought a melon and wrapped it in a cloth, to eat it later under a tree shade across the farm.

By chance the day when the prime minister got into trouble, the prince also went for hunting but did not manage to return home before the fall of the night. The King was worried and distressed so he consulted all his ministers and discussed the matter with them. The same minister who was always backbiting about the prime minister said, ‘I think the prince has been taken away and killed by the grieved prime minister’. On hearing this king ordered to arrest the prime minister. The police found him near the melon field and arrested the prime minister and his wife. They had not eaten the melon by that time and it was still wrapped up in the cloth at the time of their arrest.

They were brought in front of the king who noticed blood seeping out from the cloth in which the melon was wrapped. On removing the cloth prince’s deadhead was discovered. The king started crying and ordered to put them in jail for the night and behead both of them early in the morning. The prime minister and his wife were sent to the royal jail. In the jail the Prime Minister asked his wife ‘I cannot understand why are we in so much trouble? What kind of sin have we committed for which we are getting punished?’. His wife told him about the woodcutter’s story, word by word, and said that I did not believe in his spiritual ‘nazar’ and about Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq sws instructions in her dream.

Upon hearing this, the prime minister told his wife that there can be no sin graver than doubting Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq asws ‘s Divine powers and means of communications to help and assist his followers in desperation. They then decided to repent and ask for forgiveness as Mola asws’s miracles are always true and just. Therefore, they cried all night and asked for absolution and pledged to offer the Niaz if released from the prison without charge. Allah azwj accepted their apologies and early in the morning, the prince came back from hunting and greeted his father, the king. Salawat!

On the prince’s return the king asked him,’ O my beloved son where have you been for so long?’
He replied that he decided to stay over night in one of their royal gardens due to unsuccessful haunting endeavor. The king asked him to go and take some rest and then asked for the prime minister and his wife, who were about to be hanged. The king also asked for the cloth in which he had seen the head of his son. This time when he opened it, he saw a melon there instead. He was surprised and asked the prime minister about the whole matter. The prime minister told him the whole event as it was. On listening to the entire story he sent for the woodcutter and his wife and asked them about the events described by the prime minister. They told the king, what they had gone through which was in line with what the prime minister had told him earlier. Upon gathering this information the king believed in it whole-heartedly and became a devout Momin and reinstated the prime minister to his former position and expelled the fellow who lied about him. Salawat!

Ya parwardigar!
Just as you have turned the wrong days of prime minister and woodcutter into better ones please, fulfill all prayers and wishes of all momaneen and mominaat and save us from the troubles and hardships, become our protector and give us the best sustenance, with ease, closer to my home, from ‘halal and pak’ resources and means. Aamin suma Aamin.

Then stand up and recite Salawat 5 times, sura Fateha once, sura Ikhlas three times, sura Qadar once and five times Salawat and serve niaz to the participants, as described above.

Late Shah Ji, Supreme Spiritual Leader

Guests arrived in anticipation last night to mark the fourth anniversary since the Supreme Spiritual Leader, Shah Saab, passed away. Very few knew the secret that was to be revealed tonight that would to make this evening a momentous achievement in the history of the Sufi Spiritual Society. Those who knew of the upcoming events found it difficult to keep such exciting news locked away; they were desperate to tell everyone. But all was to be revealed very soon.

Following prayers and the recitation of Surah Yaseen to commemorate the memory of Shah Ji, male members of the Society and other guests visited the site at which the late Shah Ji rests. After paying their respects, they returned to continue the evening’s events. Qaari Saab performed Hamds and Surah’s from the Quran which was then followed by guests sharing their cherished memories of Shah Ji. The hearts of many were touched and brought tears to those that were humbled to have been in the company and presence of such an accomplished yet modest spiritual leader. Not only will his achievements and spiritual enlightenment be remembered and studied for years to come, insha’allah, but his warm and caring personality will never be forgotten.

Then elite members of the society began their presentation to unfold the secret that had to be shared. They payed tribute to the DM Digital TV Network team and their family for encouraging Shah Saab, the current Spiritual Leader on pursuing the Sufism path and sharing his rare and hidden knowledge. Hidden in the corner were antique, hand crafted  boxes that contained even more exquisite objects. As the contents of these treasure boxes were revealed one by one, heartbeats raced and guests murmured  to each other in disbelief. Could they really be in the presence of such rare relics? Were they actually sat beside items that very few have said to have seen? Such heirlooms are only ever talked about and remained rumours. Until now that is. After crowds were hushed and silence fell once again to allow speaker, Mr Tauseef Akhtar,  to tell us how these items were acquired.  Objects such as these are passed down generations and become dispersed with in extended families. But we have been in a very lucky position to have such a large collection present in one location. We’ll be sharing soon how the connection was made between the Society and original owners of the relics-and even that is an amazing story to tell.

These artefacts are from the time of our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH, his family and close advisers. One of which is Moh-e-Mubarak of the Holy Prophet’s  PBUH single hair from his head that has survived and remains intact. We also have a Mo-e-Mubarak of Hazrat Abubakar RA and thread hand-woven by Bibi Paak SUA. A single tooth of Hazrat Ovais Karni RA is also in the collection. This is even more significant for the Sufi Spiritual Society as their knowledge originates from Tareeqat-e-Ovaisia. The antique box also holds an original map of the Kab’ah that dates back 800 years and a pair of shoes belonging to Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani RA. These magnificent relics are referred to as  Ziaraat.

Guests lined up to get a glimpse of  the collection and say their prayers. Many were stunned and examined the Ziaraat in awe, in disbelief! Phone cameras were armed and at the ready, those who had just discovered the secret wanted to tell their friends, their family, the world. They needed proof that they came so close to such rare objects. The air was electric. Simultaneous recitation of  Durood Shareef opened our hearts to what had just been revealed to us and we were all grateful that we were stood in this very room.  Our museum was only temporary so guests were ceremoniously ushered away despite many wanting to stay for longer.

Shab-e-Meraj

Shab-e-Meraj Celebration (27th Rajab)

It was on a blessed (unseen was seen) night when Hazrat Gibrael a.s was sent to the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w to summon him to the Divine Presence. He thus came to the Prophet s.a.w.w awoke him, and asked him to accompany him on the journey of ascent. The Prophet s.a.w.w was made to ride the Buraq (a celestial white horse-like animal ), would mention here that time and space was cancelled from this universe on that occasion, first he came to Jerusalem. Here at the Masjid-al-Aqsa He s.a.w.w was met by an assembly of all the previous Prophets, who requested him to lead them in the prayer.

Complying with their wish he did so, after which the Prophet s.a.w.w ascended through the seven heavens to the Divine Presence. On his way passing through all the heavens, he was introduced to the various Angels and the different Prophets. Reaching the outer limits of the universe known as “Sidrat-ul-Muntaha”, Gibrael took leave of Him saying that He s.a.w.w had to cross the last threshold by himself as no one can go beyond this point except s.a.w.w, in order to enter the direct Divine Presence (of Allah SWA). Thereby the Prophet s.a.w.w arrived at that Place where no other being has ever been able to reach neither will ever reach.

After communion with Allah, He s.a.w.w prepared for his return journey and came back into the world of man. The nearness of the Prophet s.a.w.w with Allah is described in the following verse of the Qur’an:

فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ

So the distance between the Spectacle and the beloved was only two arms’ length, or even less.
[QURAN 53:9]

Jafr-e-Ah’mar

In the words of Supreme Spiritual Leader, Akhtar Moeed Shah Al-Abidi, who reproduced the Jafr-e-Ah’mar, a unique literary treasure.

My inner self determined that I put pen to paper regarding Jafr-e-Ah’mar. All the revered texts written since the advent of Islam have not revealed this hidden treasure, through it is mentioned in passing, in some tombs. References usually state that this auspicious gift is one of the many priceless and unique literary treasures bestowed by Hazrat Maula Ali alayhi as-salam (AS) upon man kind.

I am putting pen to paper in conjunction with my spirituality and, have no hesitation in admitting that there is a limit to my intellectual capabilities and my every other strength is also limited. On the other hand, the one whose work I am discussing is the Master of all, and his powers are boundless.

20140510-193636.jpg

In Surah Al-Hamd (verse of the Quran), there are twenty one letters barring repetition. The seven letters (of the Arabic alphabet) which have “dots” in them are not used in this Surah. These being ـ ش ز ظ ث ف خ ج.(green)

Fourteen of the letters in Surah Al-Hamd are in Jaffar-Ah-Mar. The seven letters bearing the “dots” are neither in Jaffar-Ah-Mar or Surah Al-Hamd. The letters of Surah Al-Hamd are; ـ ا ل ه م د ح ر ب ع ى ن ق و س ص ط ك ذ ـ ض غ ظ (red). From these the following fourteen letters are in the Jafr-e-Ah’mar. These being ـ ا ل ر ق ه ى ع ص ط س ح م ق ن (orange)

20140510-193737.jpg

Seventy two names of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala (SWT) we’re bestowed upon Hazrat Adam alayhi as-salam (PBUH). From these, Hazrat Adam alayhi as-salam (AS) was taught the secret sublime meanings of twenty two names. Hazrat Nuh (AS) had the secrets of eight names and Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) had the sublime secrets of six names of Allah (SWT). Hazrat Musa (AS) had the secret of four sublime names. Hazrat Isa (AS) held the secrets of two names. And Hazrat Asif Bin Bharakhiya (AS) had the secret of on name of Allah (SWT); with which he moved the throne of Belquis from one place to another in the blink of an eye.

The secret, sublime knowledge of these entire seventy two names was bestowed by Allah (SWT) upon the holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the master of both worlds. These seventy two names were taught in their entirety, along with their meanings to Hazrat Ali (AS). It is from these names that the Jafr-e-Ah’mar was written.

The Jafr-e-Ah’mar was written by Hazrat Ali (AS) under the guidance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) using the unjoined or the singular letters from the Holy Quran called the Muqattiat. The unrepeated letters are the ones used in this work.

I am therefore, reproducing this great work as a result of extensive research, intellect and spirituality.

There are twenty eight letters of the alphabet in Arabic; from these only fourteen letters have been used in the entire Jafr-e-Ah’mar.

The method is as follows:
-This work consists of fourteen parts ie volumes
-There are fourteen pages in each volume
-There are 196 squares on each page
-There is a four letter combination in each square which is a unique combination ie never repeated in the entire work
-As there are fourteen pages to each volume, it therefore means that there are 2,744 combinations of letters per volume, and a total of 38,416 combinations of letters in the entire work
This gives a grand total of 153,664 letters.

It has to be noted that only a sublime and unlimited intellect, and boundless knowledge can produce such a profound gift for humanity. Only this level of spirituality and closeness to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) could have produced such a piece of work, without any combination being repeated in the entire Jafr-e-Ah’mar what so ever.

No one knows the secrets of the Jafr-e-Ah’mar in exactly the same way that no one knows the sublime secrets of the Muqattiat letters.

What is Sufism?

This question has many answers and depending on who answers, the answers are very similar. Simply put, Sufism is a path and the one who walks the path is known as a Sufi.

Islam is a complete religion. The Sharia law in Islam provides guidelines for humanity, setting out principles, practices and clear law and order to assist in structuring and building Muslim communities around the world. Islam, being a complete and unique religion also has, Tareeqat. One must follow Sharia and Tareeqat. Tareeqat, like Sharia, has principles, practices and clear law and order. Tareeqat also assists in structuring and building Muslim communities around the world. Tareeqat has much diversity. Dependent upon which Tareeqat you follow, you become known by that Tareeqat. For example the Sufi Spiritual Society is of the Tareeqat-e-Ovaisia.

In the early days of Islam, knowledge of enlightened guidance was received through our beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam peace be upon him and his progeny (PBUHAHP) and then Hazrat Maula Ali alayhi as-salam peace be upon him (PBUH). Such knowledge provided spiritual enlightenment to those who followed the knowledge. Depending on who the knowledge was received from, various names were given to the particular way of the teachings, thus becoming different Tareeqats. The one who learned the Tareeqat was thus the enlightened one. The enlightened one then passed on this knowledge. This is briefly where Tareeqats originated from. Tareeqat-e-Ovaisia originates from Hazrat Ovais-e-Karni radhiallahu ‘anhu (RA).

Coming back to Islam being a complete and unique religion, for avoidance of any doubt, in order to follow a particular Tareeqat, one vital condition is that one follows Sharia law. Sharia provides the foundation and only if one follows sharia law they are allowed to further progress and follow Tareeqat. In fact turning the phrases “once you break through the surface you may go deeper to the core”. You see Shariat gives one an understanding of the way of life in accordance to Islam. Tareeqat enlightens one to a path followed before them. The path is Sufism and the one who decides to walk that path is a Sufi. Sufism is the inner, mystical, or psycho-spiritual dimension of Islam. Through devotion and certain practices you attain to a higher spiritual state. A Sufi completely surrenders to God, in love, over and over; which involves embracing with love at each moment the content of one’s consciousness, one’s perceptions, thoughts, and feelings, as well as one’s sense of self. Only then one receives the gifts of God or more precisely, manifestations from God.

Today, it has become increasingly harder to decipher between right and wrong, lawful and unlawful and truth and false hood. What is the reason for this? There are more mosques today than there ever was before. Islam is being taught more today than it was ever taught before. So going by that logic, we should all be at peace and be able to co-exist peacefully. We should be able to manage our country affairs on an international level of excellence never seen before. In fact, we as the Muslim nation should be a role model society for the world and lead by example. Shouldn’t we? Instead we have disintegrated into many smaller groups. Have you ever thought why?

There were many individuals who learnt very little about Islam and laid claim to teaching it their own manner, following no particular Tareeqat. Doing this had its flaws and to recognise this we have to go back in time. In the days of our beloved prophet we were all united under one banner, Islam and known as just Muslims. We have become more and more indoctrinated to think according to the way of Islam we have been taught while living under a particular sect. In each sect there is intolerance towards breaking set patterns of worship and intolerance towards other sects. Our beloved prophet taught with patience and tolerance, so we should follow with our prophet as our example.

There is also lack of belief in the oneness of Allah. This is eventually the root cause of why we are not one among ourselves. Many have taken to side tracks of Islam.

The Sufi Spiritual Society has formed to put you on a path of enlightenment; to teach you the hidden knowledge, the forgotten knowledge of Islam, to guide you through it and to teach you from it, to heal you using it. We want people to develop spiritually. We want to show people how they can develop extra sensory perceptions, how they can excel in all aspects of life. To remould ways back to the ways of our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam (PBUHAHP). To guide and nurture one to the path which leads to Allah T’ala.

We want to re-establish Sufism. We want to show you how to decipher between right and wrong, lawful and unlawful and truth and false hood. We will show you using the same knowledge you are familiar with, The Holy Qu’ran. The difference this time is that you will get a chance to view, first hand, how the knowledge of the Qu’ran can come to life in the right hands. We understand the problems within society and want to rectify them. We want to promote brotherhood under one banner; Islam as one Muslim Ummah.

What do we do?

Our main purpose is to re- establish Sufism and reach a wider audience to teach them what Sufism is and how they can benefit from them. We have a live and interactive programme on Sufism and Tasawuf in accordance to Sharia and ancient Islamic knowledge which is purely attained by Ziqr-e-Allah, divine guidance through heart by heart and Abrar-o-Qazaif. You can watch this program DM Digital (Sky channel 802) or catch up on YouTube.

We provide personal guidance through a number of methods, get in touch to find out how Sufism can help you. You can also watch our live broadcast coming soon. Connect with the Sufi Spiritual Society on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to keep up to date with the latest news.
